I created Burnt Sugar at the end of the summer for the upcoming Scared Stiff show at Benz Gallery in London, Ontario. This will be the 3rd year for this amazing Halloween themed show. I will have two large pieces on display and a number of miniatures available, which I did earlier in the year. I’ll post some images of the framed pieces after the opening next week. I’ve been quiet on this blog as much of my summer was taken up with producing illustrations for projects that won’t be published until later this year or early 2027. I also did a final edit on my novel Garden of Certhia, which will be published in spring 2027. I’ll be doing the illustrations for it over the long Ontario winter. In the future, I hope to get back to posting on a more or less regular schedule, especially as I have pulled back a bit from social media of late.
Unfortunately, circumstances over the summer have meant that I’ve had to suspend shipping from my shop to the EU and the US. I won’t belabour the reasons here as they have been well covered in the media. My shop is still up, and I will continue to stock it in the hope that international shipping improves soon.
