Extremophile

Here is my finished drawing, EXTREMOPHILE. I worked on this through much of the summer. It’s quite large and occupied most of my drawing table. There are three compositions here working as one: right, left and centre. I like the negative space in this piece, the way you can let your eye wander out to the horizon. Since it’s difficult to take in the detail on a computer screen I’ve included some details below. With a little luck, EXTREMOPHILE will be part of the Scared Stiff show at the Benz Gallery coming up this October in London, Ontario. More on that later. Until then…
