Remains

I have the okay to show you one of the illustrations from Death Poems. This piece, which I call Remains is a meditation on those things that must be left behind, all our efforts at understanding our lives through collecting, classification, religion and science. This is a Wunderkammer of a finished life, the “dash between dates”, as expressed by the death row officer in Werner Herzog’s Into the Abyss.
