At the store you can also find a selection of other original works and prints.
I have the okay to show you one of the illustrations from Death Poems. This piece, which I call Remains is a meditation on those things that must be left behind, all our efforts at understanding our lives through collecting, classification, religion and science. This is a Wunderkammer of a finished life, the “dash between dates”, as expressed by the death row officer in Werner Herzog’s Into the Abyss.
The book was officially announced today.
It’s been a while since my last post so I thought that tonight I’d show you something new. This is the artwork I created for a new edition of Thomas Ligotti’s “Death Poems.” The cover is a wrap around, meaning what you see on the left is the back cover and what you see on the right is the front. Of course the final product will also feature some lettering. The book will be published this year by Bad Moon Books. Remember, you can click on the image to see a larger version.
