Over the last few weeks I’ve been doing some small stippled works between commissions. I thought I’d post some of them here for you to see. All of these drawing were done on 140lb hot press paper—my go-to paper for years, using .18 Rotring Rapidograph pen. Unless otherwise noted, these works are for sale on my webstore.
I’ve been working on some silverpoint miniatures over the last few days. These are done with silver wire on a plate finish archival illustration board. I worked them directly on the ground with no under-drawing. I hope you enjoy them. If you are interested, they are posted on my webstore for sale.
For some reason, I neglected to post the completed image of this piece. Here you go, along with a few details. This will be part of the Fiends of the Dark online exhibition by WOW X WOW. Stay tuned for details!
Pollen is a new drawing (personal work) that I finished towards the end of January. It was done using .13 & .18 Rotring Rapidograph pens. The image below is a quick iPhone shot of a new work in progress called Hearts Divided. I’m hoping to get it done in the next few weeks, working on it between other things. The piece is 17″ x 14,” ink on archival quality illustration board.
On the writing front, I’m in the middle of a full revision of my latest novel The Tailor of Echoes. My goal is to have it completed by the end of March.
