The Evening Tree is a new acrylic ink painting that I just completed this afternoon. I have always enjoyed pictures of reflective figures in weird high places, so here you go! Currently for sale on my Etsy store. - Richard

This is another acrylic ink vignette. I love the rich green in this one. This piece is actually inspired by my dog Molly (a golden retriever) who likes to lie in my studio like this. I re-imagined her as a mysterious mythological creature resting on the forest floor. Please note that this work is sold.

This is a acrylic ink vignette called Red Coral Trilobite. Acrylic inks act similar to watercolour on the page and the colours are beautifully vivid. I'm using this piece to reactivate my Etsy account. Please note this work has now sold

Paper, An Elegy by Ian Sansom I picked up "Paper, An Elegy" on a bit whim a couple of weeks ago. Every artist should read this book. It is packed with fascinating stories about, well, paper. It's thought provoking and funny. I'll definitely be picking up everything I can find by this author.

I have 8 signed prints of my image "Nestling" on sale until June 15. If you are interested in this, or other prints/ originals please visit my webstore.
