The Conspiracy

A few years ago I did a series of silverpoint miniatures broadly called The Human Organizations Project with subsets such as The Committee, The Symphonists and The Secret Society. Collectors bought them as a kind of subscription with drawings arriving monthly until each subset was complete. The collectors had no idea what they were going to get, which was a large part of the fun. I recently had the urge to work in silverpoint again (I have added a short video below which demonstrates this technique) so I started The Conspiracy.

The Conspiracy will include 13 drawings when complete. The drawings in this series are a little larger than the miniatures I was doing before. The previous works were 3.5″ x 4″ and these are 6″ x 9.” The difference in size gives me a little more breathing room. Each piece will feature a unique fantastical creature against a white background. I am posting each image to my website as they are completed. The first two images below…
