Aura, Beetle in a Box

I’m working on a new book of drawings called AURA. BEETLE IN THE BOX is intended as the first illustration and serves as the portal into the world of the book. AURA will encompass all aspects of my aesthetic: fantasy, surrealism, humour and horror. It is a journey, but not a structured narrative, as in say a graphic novel. I will create the book by adding drawings, one after the other until I feel it is finished. For those interested in following my progress, I’ll make things easy by tagging related posts with #aura. The outcome will be a printed book, and some of the illustrations may be offered as prints.

Finally, a couple of posts ago, I showed you the artwork I’d done for a series of Caitlin R. Kiernan collections being published by PS Publishing (also the publisher of my short story collection MAGPIE’S LADDER and my most recent novel THE TAILOR OF ECHOES).
